Admissions

Admissions to the Centre for Special Education open once a year, during the month of February. The detailed admission process is outlined below:

1. Availability of Application Forms
Application forms can be collected from the Umang office on any working day in February, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

2. Submission of Completed Forms
Duly filled application forms must be submitted on or before 7th March, along with the following documents:
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Disability Certificate
  • UDID (Unique Disability ID) Card
  • Birth Certificate
  • Mark sheet of the last class attended (if applicable)

3. Assessment Process
All applicants will be invited for an assessment in March/April to determine the most appropriate group placement.

4. Confirmation of Admission
If a vacancy is available in the identified group, parents/guardians will be informed accordingly.

5. First Admission List
The first list of selected candidates will be announced in April.

6. Waitlisted Candidates
Candidates on the waiting list may be offered admission in July, subject to the availability of vacancies.
